Flamboyant, a popular dance
club is within a club of Micky's and opened in 1993. Micky added a big dance floor at Micky's by knocking down a wall; next-door was an abandon flower shop. He named it "Flamboyant" and it became
the most popular dance club in town
in 1994 to this day. The club only opened on the weekends.
Flamboyant outgrowth its location
at the year's end. The Castle, dance club, closed down across the street, Flamboyant took its business. Edgar wants to expand the enterprise there, Micky wasn't
sure. They fought; the success went to Edgar's head.
Edgar opened his first club,
Flaming Queen, at the old Castle's location behind Micky's back in 1996. Micky's was out of town during FQ's grand opening, he showed Connie his home country, England,
for two weeks. Kenny made sure of that. Edgar kept the FQ secret from Micky with Kenny's help.

The owner died from a heart
attack.
3. The place is abandoned,
1984 - 1986.
A tough sell to the buyers.
4. Wonderland is a neighborhood bar, 1982 - 1984.
The owner sold Wonderland and
moved away.
5. Hustler is a hustler, 1979 - 1982.
Hustler is Gaysville's original
hustler bar. The neighborhood was in an uproar, Hustler managed to survive till the police closed it down for good, too many violations!
Edgar brought OZ right after
he died in 1999! You got to wonder about the
GANG!

Black Hawke is Gaysville's
only leather bar. It was located on the Eastside till they moved to 9407 La Queen Blvd in 1996.

2. Sing Along is a piano bar, 1987 - present.
New location, Sing Along's
lease wasn't renewed in 1996; the manager felt the rent was too damn high.
3. Garland is a neighborhood bar, 1983 - 1987.
Land of OZ is the most happening
bar in 1986. Soon after, Garland lost it customers to OZ.
Sing Along moved to 9400 Pinewood
Ave; Black Hawke took its place. Both clubs increased their business!
Garland is named after Judy
Garland. The Wizard couldn't save Garland from the wicket club in the west! She closed down.

Everyone can "sing along" of
tunes from a book and still have a fabulous time. Sing Along is an uppity place for a good mood.
